are contracted to repair or replace a roof we donate used shingles to be
converted to asphalt and new roads. This
may seem to have only a minor benefit to the environment but it actually has
quite an impact. For every home or building
project it keeps an average of 3 tons of roofing materials out of local
landfills as well as helping to provide recycled materials for 50 feet of new
road.
We also take great
pride in our focus on material optimization in our projects. This means we use environmentally-friendly
materials that not only reduce the impact on our environment but also save our clients’
money in the long term. All of the green
initiatives we have implemented in regard to materials have helped us to earn
the GAF Certified Green Roofer designation.
